The Blaze of Glory👑
I saw a movie sometime ago, titled "Black Gold". This movie delve neck deep into a myriad of issues we encounter as humans during the course of our lives. One of the main actors made a statement and I quote, "anything worth its salt is either earned through sweat or love". This statement might sound simple, but like Leonardo Da Vinci said, "simplicity is the ultimate sophistication".
We have seen people who we consider rich, but when asked what they do for a living, can't give a valid answer without ruminating on a reply which they feel is pleasing to the ear. Prosperity is not just about making money, it's about the dignity behind it. Many a politician who siphon tax payers money from the government coffers will never get rated on Forbes list because the source of their wealth is questionable. When one search deep down everything one is proud to have acquired overtime, one will realise that it is either earned through sweat or love.
😰Sweat _ The glee on the faces of graduates who work so hard to acquire their degrees. The joy which gladdens the hearts of parents who toil to provide shelter for themselves and their wards. The pride which beautifies the minds of entrepreneurs who give half of their being to build an empire. The gaiety that adorns athletes who train round the clock to reach the acme of their professional careers. The bravery which creates an air around generals who have conquered territories e.t.c all points to one direction.
💗Love _ The good book says, for God so "LOVE" the world that He "Gave" his only begotten son. This translates to the fact that the greatest gift (our salvation) was earned through love. Medical cases in which a person urgently needs an organ which another person donates is also a huge reference. Our parents sacrifices to give us the best out of life is also based on love, though some people might think it's their birth right, then, stop to think of irresponsible parents. To give oneself to another person via marriage, to let them into your soul and being is an absolute act of love.
As a matter of finality, the true blaze of glory is linked not to just the possessions but the dignity behind them.
